Why did Bajger CO  decide to become a distributor for Geely?

 

Bajger company and Bajger family has decades of experience as automobile distributor, and the decision to choose Geely Auto as a partner was a well-thought-out one.

Bajger management analyzed and reviewed as many as 7 Chinese automobile brands before finalizing Geely Auto.

A key reason was the Quality of products Geely had to offer and the potential of the products to excel in any global market.

 

Our goal is to serve our customers the best cars and Geely is sure to exceed the expectations of customers in Iraq.


 

How do you see the future of Chinese automotive brands in Iraq?

 

The future of Chinese automotive brands in Iraq is bright as you can see from the increasing market share every year. The reason for this is not just the competitive prices but also the quality of products that the Chinese Auto industry is able to churn out year after year.

 

Geely Group in particular has been highly successful in bringing out quality products that have been successful in many markets across the globe. This is thanks to heavy investment in technology, design, and research by Geely Group.  

 

What is your plan to make Geely more popular in Iraq?

 

As I said earlier, our endeavor is to keep bringing the best products Geely has to offer to this market. In addition to this Bajger company has a clear focus on innovative & highly localized marketing to reach out and engage our customers.


 

You are the 2nd generation of automotive businessmen in Iraq, what will do you different compared to previous generation?

 

Follow the vision and footsteps of the earlier generation. I would like

to acknowledge their role in building the business and our role to drive it forward. Today we are consciously investing more on technology, innovation and human resource.

 

We believe the key resource is our people and our vision is to hire, train and build teams that can take our business forward.

 

Are you planning to open new branches in other cities?

 

Yes, we are planning to have a branch in Sulaymaniyah within the next 6 months, and Duhok to follow soon after.

    


How is Geely different from other brands?

 

Geely as a global enterprise has multiple brands under its umbrella – Volvo, Lynk & Co., Zeekyr, Polestrar, Lotus, London Taxi etc.

It has the advantage now of automotive know-how and technology collaboration with the world’s leading brands and that has made a big difference to the products Geely has to offer.

Most importantly Geely today is more customer-centric than ever before.

 

Let me also highlight that New Generation Geely cars have more than 90% of the components from European, American and Japanese brands like – Valeo, Bosch, Continental, Magna, SK, Mitsui, and other such global brands

 


Will Geely bring EV to Iraq?                                

 

We are in discussion with Geely officials to bring and test some EV vehicles in this market. You may just see a few sample vehicles soon here in Erbil.       

 

How will the after-sales service and parts availability be granted for customers in Iraq?

 

As a business, we believe in selling cars and making a relationship with the customer. We have heavily invested in the brand Geely and last month the launch included a world-class showroom, after-sales & parts facility with well-trained service engineers, technicians and a customer care team to support our customers.  

 

We understand that the most important part of ownership is the reassurance of quality service and customer care.

Geely as a company has a well-defined after-sales and parts process which is based on their global experience. They define quantity of parts to be procured and stored for the number of vehicles imported. As a distributor we comply with all the processes to ensure that we can serve customers with the parts and services their vehicles need.

 

 

Can you explain the warranty of Geely?                      

 

Geely offers 5 year or 150,000 km warranty to every Geely car buyer. This warranty covers the engine, transmission, powertrain, airbags, fuel system, and all electrical parts. This is a comprehensive warranty that will ensure a happy and peaceful ownership experience for every customer of Geely.

 

In addition, Geely also offers a warranty of 1 year or 20,000 km on any new part bought from Geely Spare parts counter.

 

Will previous owners of Geely be able to have their cars serviced at your service center?
