Design 

The interior featured a fresh dashboard, with updated screens and a bit of new technology. The XRT gets a new feature a black grille, gloss black wheels, and roof rails. a redesigned steering wheel, and updated upholstery options. New features include a Wi-Fi hotspot, heated third-row seats, and a massage driver's seat.

Engine 

Mechanically, nothing has changed with the powertrain. With the same standard engine, a 3.8-liter V6 engine produces 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque and sends power to the front wheels (FWD) through an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Hyundai’s HTRAC All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) system is optional—it saves towing mode (and keeps lower gears longer for more power). And while the engine and transmission remain unchanged, the Palisade's ride is marginally improved with new valve over suspension dampers, and the chassis has been beefed up to improve its stiffness.
